I barely get resources (and I pay all the cost out of pocket) to do 320×240 and i pretty make 480×360 happen with magic.

Maybe this is old new, in fact, I don’t see how it can’t be quite common knowledge.
No matter, I just found about it tonight while trying to solve the following problems.

• I use multiple computers
• I can’t remember my own name some days
• Sudo is great, but then I live there, so if something I am working on goes bad the potential for damage it can cause grows
• I am very dangerous to my own goals due to my tendency to use rm -rf * in the wrong directories
• Mostly, I just and end up doing the above… in /etc

This is part one of my solution, but it’s the most important part. So far I haven’t seen a good way to make a sudo session bring over the full bash environment, but at least I can now make the sudo prompt different with the following lines in my .profile (should work in .bashrc as well).

export      PS1="\[\033[01;33m\]\u@\h\[\033[00m\]:\[\033[01;35m\]\w\[\033[32m\]\$\[\033[00;00m\]"
export SUDO_PS1="\[\033[41m\]\u@\h\[\033[00m\]:\[\033[01;35m\]\w\[\033[32m\]%\[\033[00;00m\]"

Yes, the colors are a bit, colorful, but it keeps the various parts distinct.

Now you say to yourself, ok great, so you change the prompt color… and thats it?
Well, yes. At least for now. It’s at least enough to be a large reminder that I’m engaging in some quite risky behavior.

Oh, and Ubuntu doesn’t like it on my system for some reason…

… even thou I still suck at it compared to a lot of folks, I’m better than everyone else in my family, lol.

Miss playing against her thou… she would get so frustrated. It was the strangest thing, cause here I am, not in the best of shape, and I could beat her, awesome in shape soccer player.

Beating her at the game wasn’t the fun part, just playing a fun game next to my best friend, teasing and talking smack was.

Oh well… now like everything else, I now have to do it for me alone…

As my primary video camera has always been what I’ve borrowed, I have quite a few tapes that just sit around. Well, my mom might be selling her miniDV camera soon so I figured that now was as good as any time as ever to start importing the old footage…

Scary how long ago this was…

I can’t believe how long it took to make, how long it took to render, and how sucky the quality still is.
Of course, much more than just tech has changed.
